i break my own silence on here, i have to admit my inactivity was because of my fulltime summer job and then immediately getting thrown into uni, i'm back at my animation major. It's been nothing but figure drawing and toonboom harmony.. lol. i'll do a small art/animation dump soon

anyway, i have a bit of a pressing question in regards to a program i've been using the past 2 months or so. I did ask around but i figured newgrounds is the place where more people use Flash than like, my toyhouse following. so i figured i'd put this out here to see if anyone has a fix/ or if this is or is not an isolated incident on my end

So, when i got my new windows laptop, i downloaded Flash cs5.5 from animate archive, and i used the respective serial code on there. I used it for about 2 months until today, where i was prompted to enter a serial code since the one i used on AA was invalid. I went and found 3 off of someone else, upon entering them they would work and allow me to proceed, but the issue persisted whenever i'd launch the program again.

Aka it would: tell me the last serial code was invalid > prompt me to enter a new one > i'd have to enter a different one (ones that i would enter prior are now invalid)

i've done multiple fresh reinstalls, cleared caches, used adobes CC cleaner etc. the same thing would repeat until i ran out of serial codes to enter.

for the time being i'm using flash 8 and cs4, no issues with those. i'm just looking to recover files i had on cs5.5 since i can't open them with older versions. thanks for reading, i am just very frustrated rn

I do try to post frequently on here, the problem is that i don't draw as many finished pictures as i used to, i think it's partially because esp. when i was 17-18 i'd do all of my finished work at like. 3 or 4 in the morning, now i've been just going to sleep at a reasonable hour. My brain has kind of been wired to drawing super late because i don't really like drawing in the daytime for some reason?? I suppose i'll have to fix that somehow LOL.

I do sketch a lot, pen and ink drawings are something i'm trying to get back into (i also have one of those fancy dip ink pens which i find extremely difficult to use but enjoy the process and outcome of that)
